June Arunga
June Arunga was born in Kenya in 1981. She has a law degree from the University of Buckingham and was prominent in the global the film industry as founder and president of Open Quest Media LLC. Until recently when she took up the position of Head of Communications & International Relations at tele-finance firm, BSL. Ms. Arunga sits on the board of several international organizations, most notably Global Envision and the Grassroots Institute. She was recently voted amongst the world’s 21 most influential women by Clutch Magazine in a roster that also included female luminaries such as Nobel Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai and Liberian President Johnson Ellen Sirleaf.
